Prairie Remnants    Plant: Cardinal Flower

September 2007 - Cardinal Flower is pollinated by hummingbirds. I had planted a cardinal flower in a damp area of my prairie garden. I thought it had died, but this year I found the seeds had spread and 3 new plants were spotted a ways from the original plant.
Love...like a wildflower garden thrives and grows in our hearts.
