May 1998 - A clutch of leathery egg shells that had been buried in the remains of an old stump the season before. They are approximately 1.25 inches long. Some are split lengthwise as if a snakelet had emerged, while others have 2-3 puncture holes as the result of a racoon or oppossum.
Political history is largely an account of mass violence and of the expenditure of vast resources to cope with mythical fears and hopes.
