July 2005 - On a prairie walk, I found this brightly colored Dung Beetle. It's beautiful colors tell why it is also known as a Rainbow Scarab.
I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity.
