Prairie Remnants    Animal: 17-Year Cicadas
 (1 of 15)NextLastNext Animal

June 2007 - 17-year cicadas from Brood XIII mating. The males die soon after mating and the females die after they have laid their eggs.
Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then.
